Ive hunted down there before but it is just too far for me to travel right now...it can be excellent hunting at times. Alot of deer are taken off that base every year.

Hunting is always good there if you know where to go. Also, you need to get more than 100 yards off the road. Seems alot of hunters don't like to walk that far. Last year I hunted there at least 3 days a week, this year seems like that thing called work has taken over my life. I hunt the bow only areas this time of year, everyone else abandons them to gun hunt.

Hunt there all the time, very good place to hunt. You cant hunt nee=ar the road, late in the season its best to go deep. You can kill three deer a year if you scout it and go too the right places.
