Default East Tex Hunters

I'll finally be heading out for my first hunt this season Fri. I'll be in Oakhurst (Pointblank-Livingston) area.

I heard there has been scarce amounts of deer in East Texas, and still not that many hogs.

Just confirming,I wouldnt want to waste a trip.

Thanks

Default RE: East Tex Hunters

twelch, I hunt east of you in Tyler county. Let me just say that the hunting has been slow at best. I've personally only seen one deer since opening morning. Now, I have a few friends who have connected and are having a really good season so far. Besides, you can't get anything if you are not there....Good luck !!
