Default snipe hunting (FL)

has anyone tried snipe hunting? is it fun? where are some good places to go in florida (specifically NE.)?

i mean with a gun! they say snipe are real popular in florida? i was just wondering if there were any suggestions as to where i should try it.

Gosh, I haven't shot snipe since the late 60's and early 70's. We had a small pond on the property that was covered with snipe.

They are very eratic in flight and you have to be a very good shooter!

Try along the coastline. I have never shot any but I have seen them while shooting ducks.

Back then I shot Quail and Snipe with a Beretta "Silver Snipe" O/U and how I wish I had it today!

man, i used to go every year. it's hit or miss. there has to be water. either way plan on a lot of walking, a lot of shooting and not much killing.
