Time for Green Swamp to open

If my memory serves me ..the gate doesn't open till 5:30 AM..because it's not daylight till 7:00AM. Expect a few trucks in front of you ..about 20. Also, remember the guys or gal at the gate can''t check your license...so th eline should go fast.you may be checked later though driving out by a game warden..We were last year.

yea gs is really bad bout game warden last year i bet i got checked 20 times had two differnt ones drive right up to my stand.be really careful

I would hope you are all hunting with a license and following the WMA rules anyways. I find getting stopped by a warden just to be a good way to hunt for info, since I am doing nothing I have to worry about.

The game rules are in place to help us all have animals to hunt and safe lands to hunt on.

The odds are 90% tomorrow you will be checked by a gamewarden at the gate for your licence ...

10% odds you will have a vehicle search..complete search coming out the gate.

They were supposed to check last year but the gamewarden over slept..coming out of the swamp they had a road block and checked for licenses.
