The Cedar key Scrub State Reserve is loaded with hog and deer, though the terrain is not for the novice hunter. There are 50 openings, 25 first come first serve and 25 quota permits. Over the last 10 years I have never seen more than 15 or 20 hunters show up. Last year I killed 2 bucks and 5 hogs and only about 10 hunters hadregistered.

Thanks for the heads up. Its a bit ofahaul from mulberry but it might be worth the trip for a day or two.
