where to hunt lexington,columbia batesburg

never hunted public property any Ideas on which public land to hunt in lexington, batesburg or columbia s.c. Also new to huntingnet and so far think it is great!

Check out the western WMA unit. It's a little further out than Batesburg but good hunting there. Not much public land in Richland and Lexington counties.

Try to put in to hunt Ft. Jackson a buddy of mine was game warden on the post a few years ago and swears by it.

Big orange how would i go about doing that? I have heard alot of good hunting story,s about fort jackson who would I contact?
