Default Basspro rewards night August 17th??

I got a post card in the mail about a members only night. It said its for the fall hunting classic. What exactly is the fall hunting classic? Also are they going to have stuff on sale for us then? Just curious if anyone has been to one of these.
Thanks for any input
David

That pretty much is what it is, a big sale. They'll have sales reps in there as well.

They have siminars and manufacturers set up. Also, they'll advertise a bunch of gear at some really low price. When you get there and find out everything was limited quantities (2 maybe) and all the camo/clothing is only small and medium sizes. I didn't find anything to make the trip worth it, it's just a way to get you to spend your money.

The one here in Ft. Lauderdale, FL has a few outfitters come in and advertise their locations. They also have a fairly decent sale on all camo and hunting items. If you go to the private preview sale you may be able to find some good deals on items that they have in limited quantities.

I dont know why they even sent out cards to the prefered members. Anyone could come in and buy anything that was to go on sale the next day. But then I can see thier point why would they send folks away willing to spend money. Either way I got the savage 110 in 7mm I wanted.
