The guy I take my deer to is in Glouster Va. does a great job. If he doesn't do foxes I bet he could get you in the right direction. If you call 411 his name is Norman French.

Surrybigbuckhunter, I have not had one done, but I have heard guys charging anywhere from $200 to $500 depending on what kind of mount you want. I guess it also depends on the experience and amount of work each taxidermist gets. I mean if the person is somewhat newer to taxidermy or just doesn't have a large client base then they may charge less. I have taken 15 this year, so I am glad that I haven't had to spend all that money!!! 12 grays, 3 reds plus 1 bobcat for good luck!!!LOL You may just need to shop around to find one you like that is in your price range and good luck with who ever you go with!!!
I am from Chesapeake so I am sorry that I can't giveyou any word of mouth references!

was curious what you all pay if your only getting a fox pelt done. i just got 2 back and was charged $125 each. they did a good job--but i had assumed it would only be around $75-85 for a pelt.
