Thanksgiving Week/Weekend

Wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving!

As you may not be aware tomorrow starts a cold front, and hopefully tis will get the deer to moving. Things have been a little slow around here.

I've hunted Quantico the past weekend not a tail in sight in my area, but several gun shots fired (3) to be exact All in all 45 deer taken at the game check station.

I'm hoping to hunt area 16c this week close to the prince william Forrest maybe I'll get to see a few.

Big three day hunt approaching for me and three tags with Bucky, Spikey and Doe Ray me...names on them..lol

im hoping this cold snap keeps the deer moving. im hunting thurs-
saturday. i plan to sit all say on fri and sat. i found a smoking hot bedding area on sunday while scouting. im hunting a new piece of land that a buddy picked up. while scouting, i found deer crap the size of jellybeans. good luck in quantico. i cant believe i have never hunted there. its only minutes from my house.

THe only dissadvantage is as a civi we get lst pickings of areas, but weekdays are best on base.
