Bill Cochran's column (Roanoke Times on the internet) has a great piece on Sunday hunting. He really wrote it in a positive manner and was saying how support of the Sunday hunting ban is slowly shrinking.

Good post Butch! Penn Riggs said it all at the end of the article. "I say, make it legal, and let those that don't want to hunt on Sunday stay home."

I think this venture is going to take more than petitions and surveys. Since it's been in the hands of the General Assembly several times, it's going to take direct contact with your local delegates and involvement of lobbyist like NRA or SCI, not VDHA. VDHA may be a fine special interest group, but I personally don't feel they are a good representation of ALL Virginia hunters.

It my happen someday, especially if the bill gets the right wording.
