I live in Gainesville Ga. Rome is quiet. Lots of access to great leases and WMA. I don't know a whole lot about the city though.

Its a nice place. Rome is home to Berry College. There is alot of open farm land mixed with forests. Good place to get some whitetail.

You should move there. I dated a girl that went to school in Rome...you could dogg out some college girls when your not hunting...for deer anyway.

Rome is a really nice area. Like most of Northwest Ga it was built around The Textile industry. Rome has grown up a little bit over the years but is still pretty much the same it allways was a nice community. Lots of woods, farmland around the area. Rome is allso one of the bigger citys in NW GA.
