Default Late morning movement?

Anyone in VA been seeing alot ofmovement late mornings (approx 9:00-1100)? The last three weeks, majority of the deermovement I've seen has been in the late morning. Don't get me wrong, I still see deer in the PM.....just not as much.

I was hunting a small farm in Charlottesville on Saturday and betweed 8:45 and 11:00 am I saw 8 deer. The last one was a spike feeding in front of me for about 20 minutes and finally walked out of sight at around 11ish.

I hunted this morning and had a great time. I was into deer like crazy and most of them were bucks. The small ones early and then larger ones between 8-10am. I never got a shot, but it was fun just the same. I will be out tomorrow morning as well. The pre-rut is going crazy and the woods are fun again.

I've witnessed late morning activity in the Bristow area as well as in the Madison county area. Evenings are always pact full of excitement.

I'm hoping for lots of activity this Saturday morning for opening day BP.

i got my first this season in cumberland county, va,around 11 chasing 2 does. i was just about to head out for lunch when they came through.

i rattled a 4 pt. in last week. i was sitting on the ground at the crest of a hill facing down into the bottom. i hadnt even put the bag down and still had the grunt tube in my mouth when he came charging over the hill and stopped about 10 yards where we staired each other down faced to face before he snorted and took off. talk about an adrenaline rush.
