Default New to hunting NW Arkansas

I am new to hunting the NW part of the state. I was transplanted from SE Arkansas. I am looking for anyone who can point me in the right direction for a good opportunity to take a nice one this year.

If I were any further North, I'd be in Missouri.

Bella Vista, Devil's Den, and White Rock are your best public land bets.

I'm partial to Devil's Den, there are some thumpers in there.

Hey all. Missed this post earlier. I am fairly new to Arkansas myself. Anyone hunt Weddington WMA? I was in there the year before last and unfortuntely missed a nice 8 pt. Havent been there this year but thinking of going out to check it out again. Most of my attention has been in Bella Vista though. A buddy of mine has a 10 pt walking thru his back yard from time to time so I am watching that area closely
