Default Land Between The Lakes

Has anyone hunted land between the lakes? I think I might try it this year and wanted some pointers.

i've never hunted there but i'm spent a ton of time in there. my family lived there before the tva took it over. there are quite a number of deer and turkey there. i saw a group of flocks that would have numbered over 200 birds. there are also quite a number of fallow deer there too. it's pretty rough country. lots of ridges and steep hills andmany very deep hollars.

I hunted down by Lake Barkley a few years ago , they have tons of deer . One of the sporting goods stores I stopped in down there had a room filled with deer heads that would make a Bass Proshops store jealous .

Thanks for all the helpful info. I think I'll try it a few times and see how it goes. A few ridges or mountains want bother me too bad, I don't think, I may change my mind once I'm there.

I hunt the TN side regular and there are plenty of big deer. The trick is to pick a are and get to know it. there are a lot of weekend warriors the first couple of weekends the seem to just run through the woods aimlessly after about 3 weeks it settles do and just the real hunters are there mostly. In TN the season lst a week longer in LBL.
