Hunting Middle Tennessee
 
I new to Middle Tennessee and need a place to hunt but cant really find any National forest around here. I'm from SWVA were there is plenty of National Forest areas to hunt. Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

i used to hunt in south central tenn. giles, lincoln, maury, and marshall counties, some very good deer and improving turkey hunting if thats what your into, private land is tough and getting tougher, wish i could help on the public land in tenn. but have never hunted any public land there. good luck and welcome to the forums

The duck hunting on Cheatam is first class if you are lucky enough to get drawn. I've also heard good things about the ducks on Old Hickory
