Giving Hunting License

What is involved in giving hunting licences in MS?

I have a rather small plot about 73 acres about 25 miles north of Jackson, MS in Madison county. Am in the process of diging out about an 8 acre lake. Property is heavily wooded. Deer are there, and have seen turkey. Once the lake is done I intend to stock it with Florida Bass, Redear. AlsoI expect tobuy the 40 acre hayfield next to itand try tostock it with somequail and maybe pheasant.

This will take a couple years to get straightened out but it will be a pretty good deal when done, about 100 acres of woods and pastures and a nice little lake.

Back to my question... If I was to offer six hunting licenses or so, what is the process and legal aspects involved? What would someone expect to pay?

On that small of acerage I would think that pen raised quail and pheasant will be the main usage as far as hunting goes with a little deer hunting. I think you are wondering how much 6 people would pay to lease the land for hunting. You can lease land with 100% of hunting rights for as little as $5 or so an acre up to $25 + an acre, depending on area and type of land.
