A friend from work and I are planning a public land hunt for deer in southern Illinois this fall. Are there any more Carolina hunters who have made this trip before or might be going this year? After our hunt, I will make a post about expenses andif the hunt wasgood compared to paying an outfitter.
I got on a lease in Clark Co. Ill.Going up in a few weeks to set stands and clear lanes, then hunting last week of Oct/first week of Nov. Let me know how you make out.
