Default Briscoe County, TX

I have been given an invitation to go quail hunting in Briscoe County, Tx this quail season. Do any of you have any information on how good or bad the quail hunting is in this county. Would also like to know about other hunts, for deer, turkey, etc. Any information would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks,
dog1

I have turkey hunted on one of our ranches we represent in Baylor county which is a few counties south and east of Briscoe. If Briscoe is anything like Baylor county it will be god. Baylor is absolutely lousy with quail and they are the biggest quail I have ever seen.

Don't know about quail, but I was up there for a friend's wedding a couple weeks back and saw plenty of turkey, deer, pheasants up that way. If there are anywhere close to as many quail around there as there are pheasants, it should make for some good hunting.
