SE Georgia Hunting Club has openings for members

Hunting club located near Darien, Georgia, is looking for members. Mainly dog hunting club with still hunting areas. The club is family oriented with 2 campground areas available, but water and electricity are not provided. The club is looking for about 15 new members.

I forgot to mention that the club leases about 7000 acres.

How much land is set aside for still hunting or is it all dog?

From my understanding, out of the 7000 acres, there are about 500 to 1000 acres set aside for still hunting. That is not to say that the rest of the acreage is used 100% for the dog hunts. Dog hunting is very popular in this neck of the woods, so I am not sure how other clubs in this area handle this situation.

what price and how many members does the club have? also, can you still hunt in the dog hunt areas?

The cost per year is $1000. We are looking for about 15 members. Total # of members is kept at 30. From my understanding, you can choose to still hunt in known dog hunting areas because the dog hunting areas are not always in use.

I just got some information on our property. It seems that several surrounding clubs have lost their leases. The state of Georgia has also bought some close property to make a new WMA. Alot of the old timers have stated that this will increase the number and size of our herds in the years to come. We are still looking for about 12 members, so contact me if anyone is interested.
