NW FL Turkey

Anyone know any good WMAs for turkey in NW Florida? Never hunted them before, but it gives me the opportunity to extend my hunting season a bit with Spring Turkey.

Turkeys are pretty common most anywhere in N W Florida. Eglin AFB is a big place and has a good population of turkeys for one.

Hear any good or bad things about Pine Log? I'm in PC and wanna keep the drive short, unless I'm gonna camp.

I havn't hunted Pine Log in a long time, but there use to be a lot of turkeys down there. Go out and ride the sandy roads and check for tracks.

Theres plenty of turkey in econfina managment area off hwy20 but they get a fair amount of pressure so they're harder to hunt but theres tons of them there.
