Default Any Ft. Hood, Texas hunters here?

Just seeing if there are any Hood hunters here on the forum. I've been hunting there for about 4 years, and other than the jacked up tele-trac system the hunting is great!!

You just go over to the Sportsman center and get a license. It costs $100 a year. When you want to hunt an area you just call into their automated call system and log in. If it were not for Ft Hood I would no place to hunt. There are some big deer here too. My friend checked in his buck there about 4 weeks ago and some guy shot an 8 pt that was 21" wide!!!! I got an 8 pt this year that was 15.5" wide.
