Anyone near Henderson KY?

We are making plans now to go there next season.
A friend of mine has family there. So just wondering whats up and where to do it?
He says they have about 2 weeks of rifle season. But could not break down the Bow and black powder. Wanna try to catch the last couple of days of black powder and a few days of rifle.
So whats up?

i'm not far from henderson i think. i hunt near hopkinsville i'm pretty dang sure that's near henderson.

Hey fellers........ All I can tell you is this the family we will stay with are the Hoskins.
What I'm sure of is that Mark has not been there in quite a few years to hunt. So I'm getting a really early start........

I'm looking for that great hunt as wouldany hunter.
Hows the weather around that time of year? 'bout now I would say.
Do you have a black powder season? Is there a pause between the seasons?
Looking fora good place to maybe hunt for a day or two.
I'm sure we have a somewhere to hunt but you just don't know so I'm covering our hind ends.
The more hunting the better.
We will only be there 4-5 days.
So the rut falls aboutwhen around there. [8D]

How far is Fort Campbell?

henderson isn't too far from ft. cambell at all if i'm thinking of the right place.
