Recently moved to Miami, FL a few months ago and was looking for some information on the local hunting. (hogs and deer)I realize it'svery limited. Also looking for anyhunters in the same situation to partner up with.Willtravel.Does anyone know of a hunting club in SoFL? I appreciate any help.

I have lived in SW FL my whole life and have been searching for the same. I usually hunt the everglades because the leases landowners want to hunt in FL are ridiculous. I can hunt out of state cheaper than I can hunt here. There is a myriad of land available to hunt but you will will pay big money for a lease usually. Public land mostly for me!

I agree about the ridiculous lease prices..I would never pay what they want in fl...it's probably the worst state for deer hunting and has the highest price for leases.
The good leases in Central Fl. are $5,400.00 per yr...that was 3yrs. ago they might have gone up since then..but that was the Morman leases East of Orlando. I've heard some of the leases in SW Central Fl. go for over $7,000.00 per yr. I can't verify that but can the Morman leases..I know people who pay the $5,400.00 personally. That gets you 3 bucks a yr. and the state limit is 2 per day.

Hey USMC im kind of in the same situation. I live in Miami. To be exact Hialeah. This year is going to be my first year hunting public land and im getting all ready as i type. I dont know if u have anything against youngsters but im only 17 years only. If u are still intrested we can maybe meet up some day and just go do some scouting at some of the public land available. I get my drivers license in 13 days so once i get it im going to be most of my time in the Everglades. P.M me if u want to set something up.
