Default BHW & The Pizza Woodchuck

Gang,

We were blessed with nice weather here in NY, so I did the right thing and got out for a quick hunt. Real quick actually... I was on my way to pick up a pizza for saturday nite dinner. I stopped by a local farm and set up for a 20 minute hunt. This woodchuck presented himself at approx 150 yards and the Remington 700 in .223 (sans my snow camo tape) was true again! After a quick photo session, I had to hurry out to get the pizza!

Nice groundhog. Especially like the pizza story to go along with it. What scope are you using? I'm looking for a scope under $120 for shooting groundhogs. Probably put it on a .17 Hrm for out to 150 yrds.

That's a Bushnell Banner 6-18

Actually, it is old and turning grey/foggy. I need to replace it for next season!

Good job man! I hope to get out soon. The gun show is next week at the State Fair Grounds. I wanna get a 5 round clip and a scope for my Ruger Mini-14 so I can use it on yotes and chucks.
