wat is a good model brand ect.for a 17hmr that is not to costy

Yep marlin makes one of the best. My marline will put 5 shots on a dime at 50 yards even in a wind. I shot a dime 3 times before it felloff the target stand. I shot an empty 17hmr case at 50 yards also.

I know that Savage Arms makes 17hmr for i think around $160. Im not sure on the quality cause i've never owned one but it seems like a deal.

I'm a big fan of Savage arms for us guys who can't throw around big cash rolls. Overall quality is anything to write home about, but there centerfire rifles are known to be incredibly accurate out-of-the-box...and thats what we're all after, right?

I bought the Savage 93...Black composite...blue barrel with a cheap Tasco new for $150.

It'll shoot some great groups consistently with the Hornady ammo.
