Default California Ground Squirrels

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone else likes to hunt these little buggers in the off season. They are all over the place out here, due to over-development driving out predators. Anyways, how do you like to hunt them, and do you use any special techniques/strategies?

Personally, I like to use an air rifle or .22. You can stalk 'em with a shotgun if you want, but I usually just find a den, then camp out there for the day, taking head shots with my Gamo Hunter, lol. Great practice. One den can hold as many as 20 squirrels!

Bow hunting? Lol, When I was 13 I used to chase 'em around with my 40 lbs recurve. Think I only ever got three. Anyways, Now I just use a high powered .177 with a scope and bipod. Oh, and I live in San Bernardino. Where you located?
