Default A nice, fun rabbit hunt

Me (I'm in the truck wearing orange), two of my students, and two of their friends spent the morning Monday rabbit hunting.

We got 4 before I had to leave (I'm the only one with a wife and kids).

In the truck you see four 12 guages, both pumps and semi-autos, and you see my little bolt action .410 -- or pea shooter as they were calling it. When they saw me drop a rabbit just as effectively as them, they quieted down about that. Still, I like the name, so my .410 will now be called the "Pea Shooter!!"

Sounds like a great time. I love to give my buddies the needle after rolling one with my 28 guage. Course I take plenty of abuse when I miss too.
