My cousin (pictured), shot these to yotes with his .243
I was using a shotgun incase we where able to get them in close, but they held out to about 80 yards. They are really maingy dogs, so we decided to take them.

Nice looking yotes.

I am supprised by the damage done in the first pic. I am looking at getting a 243 myself and thats a bit discouraging.

It depends on what load you are using. I believe we where using a 95 grain load. Thats a bit much. We just saw these dogs while we where deer hunting one day and saw all the maing. The next day we called em in. We forgot to bring our 55 grain loads.

Good kill! way to get them out of the woods. Just a suggestion-if anyone is lookin for a good yote hunting gun i would look into the new .204 with a highpowered scope. This gun is the fastest varmit gun on the market right now.

GOOD KILL!!!
