Default Squirrels - 12 guage 7.5 size shot

What shot size are you using? I plan on using 7.5 up here in northern new jersey w/my 12 guage. All of the leaves have fallen.

use the "search" button and you'll find several threads about this. No leaves=7.5 is fine. Alot of guys, me included, like 6s. If I have some around, and there are still leaves on I'll even use 5s

Thanks. I have a ton of 7.5 shells that I need to "use". Saving my 6 for Turkey.

I used 7.5's with my 12 gauge. I am going to get 6's now. I find myself smashing more heads with the butt of my gun with the 7.5's.
