examine laws carefully: i could have lost my liscense
I was going over the pennsylvania laws in my book this morning on baiting deer. I wanted to find out when the deadline was for removing food near your hunting area. it's 30 days before the season. but anyways i didn't realize it but using decoys is also unlawful while hunting predators. i was fall turkey hunting a couple of years ago when i had a coyote come in and pounce on one of my decoys. i shot the yote dead. i didn't realize that his was unlawful and i think it's a pretty stupid law but the law is the law. the thing is that i know a few game wardens and told them the story and they never said one thing about it being illegal. just wanted to share it with you.
