Default Rate of Twist: what bullet weight is Best?

From a 20inch barrel with a 1:14 twist rate, calibre .22-250, what bullet weigth would poerform best?

The gun is a Browning Micro-Hunter LH in the .22-250.

With that short of a barrel with the 1:14 twist I would give some 50 grain bullets a try. While the twist will stabilize 40-60 grain bullets easily you have to give up alot of BC with the light weights ie, 40-45 gr and with the 55 grain and heavier pills, in my opinion you just cant achieve decent velocities with the 20 inch tube. On another note though, that particular rifle might dictate which weight it prefers.

just some thoughts.....doubleA

Please, by all means, suggest other guns for me to look at.
Thanks for your input.
