Default He shoots! He scores!

I got out this morning to do some calling with my Al (TheHuntedOne/THO) Woodard call. I called these three coyotes in on consecutive stands. Danged coyotes nearly ran over me! One stopped at 5 (measured) feet from me. The farthest one was 15 feet. Of course two of them decided to make things interesting and tried to run away. It didn't work. They just died tired.

First kill of the morning:

Second kill of the morning:

This was in So. Utah. The daytime temps are still in the 90's. In a couple of months the fur will thicken. I can hardly wait.

Tonite i was sitting on my porch playing with one of my calls the P.S. OLT fox coyote call model t-20, I live somewhat in the boonies in prescott, az lots of yotes around. after calling for about 10 minutes I had a mess of yotes in my driveway it was to dark to tell but from the sound they were making Id imagine there was atleast a dozen had a young one get within 5 feet of me. Its got me all stoked up I cant wait to get out and do a little hunting. just gonna wait till it gets a little colder like weasel said when their fur thickens.
