In NC Squirrel starts Oct 18

We don't really have much of a season here of any kind, just hunt them really whenever you want. Not to many folks are real big into squirrel hunting here, i don't eat them so i let them be in the forest. Yotes are fair game anytime, same with skunks, porcupines etc. However i won't take beavers until their pelts are prime. But if you are a land owner any varmit can go anytime.

hell you can hunt anytime up here, i havnt herd of anyone hunting and eating squirrels either. yotes are fair game and same with any other varmint.
