Default NY Coyote Pic

Ok, here's the picture from my earlier post. The quality isn't so good. She was shot with a Rem 6mm as she was heading down wind at about 100yrds. I weighed her on a good spring scale at 47lbs. I've called lots of fox in but last year was the first for Coyotes. I called in six. This was the biggest. Can't wait for Oct. 1st to come! I live and hunt in the Town of Binghamton area of NY.

Looks like a german shepard you accidently shot, just kidding wow NY yotes are big and quite pretty too almost couldnt shoot a yote if it looked that good. here in arizona they are scroungy and skinny and look quite ugly but they are fun to hunt and are also a big problem right now with the drought. our Prairie dog and quail populations are declining big time no thanks to wylie coyote and the drought.

Damn....that's a BIG dog.

That's why the pistol is with me when I'm in the woods. Legal or not I'd hate to have to face that pup and his friends with just my bow.
