No but trust me a 20 ga will do. I prefer a 12 though.

870's are the best pump gun ever made. I am getting one in 20 soon. A 20 ga is plenty, although I also do prefer a 12.

I think Remington 870's ok but I really like my Ithica 37 Featherlight. It's a 12 gauge 28 inch full choke and it packs a punch on both ends. I'd love to have one in a 20 gauge.
