RE: Hunting squirrel with a bow. Any advice.
I bait them with ear corn stuck on nails in a board on the ground. I use a tree stand so my shots go into the ground ,hopfuly pinning the squirrel to the ground . I use blunt tips . This hunting is in a friends fenced in back yard in town. It will also word in the woods but why bother when I have this great place to cull a few well fed squirrels. I use my deer bow with no changes .

Google "judo tips". It makes it easier to find your arrow if (and when) you miss. Throw some corn out. I would only shoot at a squirrel on the ground (not in a tree...especially when hunting your back yard/neighborhood). Those arrows go pretty far. In NJ it is illegal to shoot at a squirrels nest.
Also, I think people use larger feathers to slow the arrow down a little.

Flu-flus are slower moving than other arrows , they are good for small game .
Judo points don't penetrate much and are designed to be found easily since their prongs snag on the grass if you miss . Blunts work well too .
