I trap all the time.just make your traps long and tilted in at the top(to keep them from climbing out).put a board or rod along the bottom of where the door closes,(so the can't get there nose under the door and lift it up.)
put your treddle in the far end,and put feed along the edges and then under the treddle(along the edges will allow the hogs to eat along there befor they get to the treddle , so you can get more than one at a time).be sure to peg the trap down,so they can't root under and lift the trap up.

one imporant thing ; is to be very careful when you get them in the trap.a wild hog cut can be bad.some of them buggers are real mean, and VERY fast.

good luck, and have fun. they are some good eating, makes the best sasuage you ever tasted.[8D]
