Default bullet expansion on varmints

what bullet has the most deadly expansion on varmints at all ranges? All the ballistic tip bullets with the polymer tips boast quick expansion with great accuracy. The 52 gr. match hollow points boast great accuracy, but how well do they expand on varmints at all ranges?

The most deadly and damaging I have seen to date are the Hornady V max. You don't want to shoot anything with them that you plan on saving. Great for prarie dogs.

mez, i don't save my woodchucks. ideally i would like them to explode when i hit 'em. well, maybe not, but i hate it when i hit them good and they still crawl away. maybe i just need to start using a .50 bmg. that might do the trick. anyways... back to reality, it looks like the polymer tip bullets are getting good reviews. thanks for all the input so far.

I have had excellent performance from ballistic tips, vmax and I also like hornady's sxsp for the price. If I see a nice spray of red in the wind I know it did its job.
