Default New Ruger/Hornady .204 caliber

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I was am saving to buy my first varmint rifle -- a .223 Handirifle, but the Handirifle will be offered in .204 fairly soon. Should I wait?

The .204 looks real promising. But keep in mind the cost of shells will be considerably different in comparison to the .223... Not to mention the .223 is an excellent and proven round for varmints and medium sized game...
