Small Game, Predator and TrappingFrom shooting squirrels in your backyard to calling coyotes in Arizona. This forum now contains trapping information..
I was finally able to catch one over my road kill deer and pile of 70 crows bait pile Wed. night @ 1030pm. Shot him 100yds out broadside and he went about 80yds after the shot. That .17HMR really impressed the crap out of me. It was my first chance to take one with it, so for all you non-believers of these small calibers, think again, it works very well.
Congrats on the kill, but that is only one kill with that tiny bullet. IMHO it is only a matter of time before it fails you! Bullet placement is crucial! Keep up the good shooting!
