Taking A New First Time Squirrel Hunter !!

this Sat. he will go for the first time. He has called me each day since last weekend to be sure were still going.
He has a new 410 shotgun to try on the limb rats.
Hope the weather is good.
he has hunted a few times with his dad for deer but never for the rats.his dad says he is more excited about the squrrrel hunt than he was about going deer hunting.
Sure hope we can get him on a few.

but squirell season is over

ohhh well i plan on shooting some pheasant with the .22 that are in my friends field so i hope you have fun on your squirell hunt

Alesn87: our season doesn't go out till Feb. the 28th.
We have a real long season In Fla.[8D]

we have no closed season on squirrels here, all year round war!

i wish we had and all year round squirrel season here in iowa...ours ends in like january i believe...it sucks..

Those are some of my most fond memories of hunting with my Dad when I was a kid!

jrhunter I live in north central Fla. near the mouth of the Swannee river.

I took the little guy and he had a great time. he only took two limb rats ; you would have though it was a 10 pt buck.
The face told the story.
His dad took a couple of pics. I will try to get a copy and post.
