do you recommend fine cross hairs or bold ones wat?

i like thin ones in the daylight. and heavy ones for after dark shooting with lights. you just can't see thin ones with a spot light. i missed three differant dogs one night with a .243 and target scope. never again!

As green01 said to find a cross hair is hard to see in low light conditions. I have a heavy duplex reticle on my 22 ruger and it works fine.
