Default Electronic callers.

I would like to buy a electronic caller to hunt fox, & coyotes. Is a caller with a remote worth geting? Or should I just save my money and stick with a basic caller? Thanks in advance.

Bowhunter ray,
I live in delaware co., Pa. so hello to a close neighbor. I own a johnny stewart electronic caller that uses tapes. It works well, but If I was going to buy a new one it would be HANDS DOWN the new FOXPRO. They are made right here in Pa, are digital, have anywhere from 8-32 calls preset. The cheapest one(the one I think pretty much does it all) has 8 calls, 7 predator and 1 crow, goes for about $220. It doesnt have a remote(the one w/remote jumps to 16 calls and @$500), but has a delay on it. The thing ways 2 pounds and can be carried anywhere. My caller probably weighs about as much as my gun. If you go with a non electric caller the Sceery calls are excellent, they even make an eastern predator set with a video for around $40. Hope that helps.

i have a foxpro also, 32 sounds w/remote. its not cheap, but well worth it!!!!
if you order it direct from foxpro, you can pick each sound you want . they have about 200 sounds. you can also have them reprogrammed at any time for $20.
