Does any one hunt with a pellet gun ? i do ive took alot of stuff with my pellet gun i shot alot or phesant grouse an squirel with mine an a rabbit once

Dont know bout where your at but here in Virginia its illegal to "HUNT" with any type of weapon that uses compressed air or gasses as in CO2 and stuff but thats not to say that I havent gotten my fair share of squirrels and birds with mine back in the day. Dont use it no more for squirrel huntin and I dont even think about shooting birds anymore that was a teenager phase.

i used to do that all the time, this was about a quarter of a century ago. squirrels, starlings, sparrows, frogs, etc. there weren't too many other options for me back then. i'm 36 years old now.

Yeh we can in England, anything that its powerful enough for, rabbits, pigeons, crows, rooks, magpies, rats. Psandhu, frogs, thats not very sporting

heck ya its oneof the best things to do EVER! its awsome i mainly hunt cottontail rabbits but( you probably wont belive me) we killed a 50 pound javelina with our pellet guns in like.......10 shots. he was in a hog trap that is why we could kill it. because we go down right infront of it and shot it directly in the temple. i think it was dead in like 3-5 shots but we just shot it some more just to guaruntee that it was dead b4 we hopped in the cage to pull him out. lol. i have his head in an ant pile so i will show yall his skull when i get it.

I used to hunt anything from rats to raccoons with my pelletgun before i traded up to a ruger 10/22. I had a Beeman R9 in .20 cal that shot around 850fps. so i knew that i could ethically take out a coon as the tradjectory was similar to that of the .22 short. My best hunts were 1. me and my buddy took 35 crows in one day summerbefore last. and 2. fall before last i took a 30# coon! they are a blast but i have no regrets on trading up to a .22lr..... and texasyounghunterbuck what kind of pellet gun do you have? just wondering cuz you said you took out a 50#pig. you must have like a career 707 or something eh?
