Default First predator hunt??

Since deer season is over and i struck out and there aint really nothin in the bay to fish for I figured me and a few friends of mine were gonna kill some time by thryin this predator huntin stuff. So heres my situation: weapons are 270 win , 22 long rifle ,SKS open sights ,12 ga 11-87 , 12ga 870 or 12 ga 1100 which the 1100 has no choke. Long shots are pretty much outta the question with the shotguns duh, but im real good with my 270 and the 22 . As for calls i went to greentop and picked up a dying cotton tail tape. What all do i need to know for this and what else do i need before this weekend? any tips ,ideas or comments are welcome.

Use the .270 unless you want to keep the pelt. I use a rabbit in distress call.
We just go to a field that we know yotes are at and start calling. Once in a while we will get a bobcat to come up to that call as well. We plan on using some electronic calls this year and see what happens.

Like frmcntry said only use the 270 if you DON'T want to keep the pelt. This will blow a big hole in the hide and make it worthless. If you want to keep the hide, try to get a 22-250, 223, or even a 243 at the most power. Otherwise, use the shotgun with BB shot or 2 shot. With the shotgun, you'll want to stay in the woods or somewhere with close cover so that they will need to come within range to see where the call is coming from. Also, stay in the shadows and downwind of where you expect them to come from. Use a decoy if possible.
