Default Albino Squirrel

Coming home from school on Friday, I saw an albino squirrel. It was the first time I have ever seen an albino animal in the wild. It was interesting.

thats pretty cool.....one of the reasons my camera sits in my open consel thing below my radio.....i took a pice of 3 does today.....might be a nice pic i dont know..they were 15 yds away or so...and all i have is a cheap camera...no zoom or anything...id love to bag me a white tree rat....i shot a pretty rare colored one this year....it was a gray...but instead of being almost white underneath like most grays it was a really dark brown...and his face was dark too....hes in the freezer to get mounted after christmas i hope...just maybe ill find some extra money before then....but im missing alot of work to hunt coming up so i dont know...i hope hes ok in there.....i made the bags as air tight as possible but i dont know....my dads squirrel hunted all his life and said he never seen one like that...thats why im mounting him....and because he looks neat...go back and hunt the white one!...if possible..i know alot of them rats like to hang around houses...but if not id hunt him...ive seen the same red squirrel a few days in a row turkey hunting....you just might see him again.....

There are a lot of albino squirrels on my land. I have shot 2 and got them mounted. I guess the albino genes are floating around because I am starting to see more and more of them(we have about 10 on our land now).
