Hi
I' m from northcentral Ohio and have been getting some coon and selling them on the carcass. To a localfur dealer. So anyway I was wondering what kind of prices you guys are getting? I have been getting 4.00 Dollars for XL coon, 6-8 Dollars for XXL coon, and 10 Dollars for XXXL. Is that what you been getting ?
Also what kind of prices are you getting for your fox? That is on the carcass.
coons around here in tennessee are not even worth carrying out of the woods.and foxes you might be lucky to sell to someone that wont' s to get one mounted.
About $20 for fox, put up nicely, and 5 bucks for coon (though I heard of someone who " knew the right people" getting $20 up here). I' ll be selling some more fox and coon soon, so I' ll report my prices.
We have taken in 25 or so coons and have gotten a range from $4 for a scrawny one to our biggest one yet www.minaskaoutdoors.com/pictures.htm where we got $15. The guy we take them to is going to be giving $75-$150 for bobcat this year. Around $20 for coyote and $15 - $20 for fox (a little less for grey than red).
