Default First time coyote hunting. Need help.

I have never hunted coyotes before, and I don' t know anything about it. Are there any good books/films that would teach me? I don' t know anybody that hunts. I will be hunting in North West PA with a few friends. A friend has a few traps. What size of trap should I use, if we decide to trap a little? Should I use an e-call? Any help would be greatly appreiated. Thanks.

I would say that the main decision is if you should get an electronic call or hand calls. If you are in open country you may want an electronic call as they tend to be louder than a hand call. If you are in wooded country, I would suggest a hand call as the sound will bounce off of trees and carry a lot farther than it would in open country. If you are hunting off of roads, meaning you aren' t walking a lot, use an electronic. If you plan on walking quite a ways to your spot, I would use a hand call as the electronic tends to be too bulky to walk with for a long way. Mainly, it' s up to you. Also, if you need a rifle, I would suggest a Ruger 22-250 with a purple-tinted scoped for dark condition hunting. Good Luck.
