I'll shut the contest down at the end of February unless somebody has a season extending later than that.

Wow!! Virginia ended for fox squirrel Jan. 31, but grays are legal till end of Feb. I'm done though, I fix one mess (2 squirrels) a month...so I'm good thru spring.

Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri open their seasons in May! Kansas opens June 1st. Additionally a lot of Southern states have a short "Spring season" in early Summer.

If we have members with active seasons all year I'm willing to run this continually. We just need to have a start and stop point to reset counts etc.

I think that would be a cool idea up here in Minnesota grey and fox squirrel season ends February 28th but we can shoot the little red/pine squirrels all year round with no limit although I don't get out much with shed hunting and turkey hunting in the spring and fishing in the summer

While my season ends at the end of March while a fellow in Mo. has a new season start on May first. So ya a season maybe from January 1st to December 31st makes sense.
