Default I killed Conan on my last hunt of the season

Last night was my last opportunity for the season. I sat at the first spot for 2 hours and had howling and a charging raccoon in the daylight

At the second spot, this male coyote showed up to a mixture of sparse coyote vocalizations. It looked huge in the scope! It was an easy 50 yard shot. It weighed 42.8 pounds. What surprised me was that this alpha male charged in so carelessly under the intense glow of the Coyote Light without a care in the world. I figured that by now any mature coyote would be super wary... like all the others that howl and never show themselves!!

This was the only predator I saw all night! Weird season

Sheridan,

With the huge snow pack and terrible weather we had, I never hunted during the month of February. Then, in March, I couldn't get the job done at all... until this season finishing yote! Weird year!

Nice yote!
The last 2 yotes I killed were 41 & 45 lbs, shot both in the day while deer hunting. Of all the yotes we've taken and that have been trapped on our farm, it seems 35-45lbs is about avg where we are.
